Bulletin 2025 Week 3
Technology events seem to be restarting after the New Year break, with events in Glasgow, Dundee, Edinburgh and online. I’ll be hosting GlasgowJS this Tuesday, hearing from Daniel Roe on font optimisation. Python Glasgow is also making a comeback this Thursday.
Looking further ahead, Mike has posted two events next week for Rust and Friends Edinburgh: a pub evening on Tuesday and daytime coffee on Friday. Mike posted in the discord, saying:
I’m trying to do a mix of night-time pub and daytime coffee events that cater for different peoples preferences (not everyone wants to go the pub, especially in January);
It’s been a bit of a quiet week for content with just two blog posts that I could find: Olly wrote about moving from AWS S3 to Cloudflare R2 for Active Storage and Michael wrote about tech startup trends for 2025 on the AddJam blog. If you have set up a blog or video channel for tech related content then let me know!
